*Learn from a committed teacher, in my home, not at a studio with a high turnover rate where instructors come and go. I AM a private music teacher, and teaching is my passion. I am not just a musician who is currently teaching somewhere.
*Member of the Music Teachers National Association and Central Ohio MTA, giving students opportunities to perform in special programs such as Pianorama!
*If you have a small group, my teaching room is equipped with two acoustic pianos and one digital, accomodating 3 - 6 students for group lessons. Contact me about group tuition.
*Vocalists learn the fundamentals of voice and music theory as well as how to train their voice to a variety of musical styles, not just one. I will not take on a student I don't think I can help. Hear yourself sing - I use recording equipment in my lessons to aid learning. Don't take my word for it - hear it for yourself and we'll work on it together. Don't go to another audition without a vocal coach!
*Clarinet students benefit from time with a private teacher. They are encouraged above all to work on improvisation and sight reading, which are usually not a focus of busy band teachers who have dozens of students to work with at once.
